Why 108?

108 is the sacred number in Hindu and Buddhist tradition — multiple sun and moon ratios, 9 × 12, the count of mantras in classical recitation. For breathwork, 108 breaths is approximately one full pranayama round (10–15 minutes at a normal pace). Practical and traditional.
